Brin d'Herbe
This band of French friends in their 20’s (Adrien, Roman, Maxime, Geoffrey and Adrian) with diverse – mainly French - musical influences (Brassens, La Rue Kétanou, Mes Souliers Sont Rouges...) makes its way since February 2007.

All titles of their second album “Brin d’Herbe” ("Blade of Grass") are their own compositions. The band loves to perform on stage and their album sells very well backstage. They made a tour in France this summer in places like “Le CARGO” in Caen, Saint Palais, Ile de Noirmoutier, Saint Martin de Bréhal, Royan, Lacanau, etc.

They proudly endorse the style of the ‘new French Rock scene': personal and original lyrics, sometimes with a nice sense of humor, sometimes with emotion or sadness, or high intensity covers on stage. Keyboard, bass, guitars, drums, percussion, a saxophone or accordion, that’s it. Rhythm-oriented, but also sweet melodies. Music that makes you groove....

The entire mixing in true surround sound of the album allows to reproduce the 'performing ambiance' of the band and the spatial distribution of the different voices and instruments.

Eggblister
This first album was recorded in live conditions in the band’s usual rehearsal pit. It gives the listener quite a good glimpse of the energy the band produces live, and also illustrates the various moods and styles of the repertory. All titles are written and arranged by Eggblister. Not one song resembles another. The album also has four electro-acoustic versions of songs that are usually played electric, given that once in a while the band does acoustic-only gigs.
The whole album has been mixed in true 5.1-surround. As usual on our website, both stereo and 5.1 versions are available, all included in the price.

Ubris has released here its second album in full surround sound – the first one (« Forget The Future ») being also exclusively available on our web site.

Musically speaking, this new album is a move into an even more intricated mix of diverse styles like metal, Indus, rock, electro – and remains only instrumental.

From the inspirational perspective, as the album title tells (“Exaspéré” meaning exasperated), Ubris continues to despair of societies being driven by outrageousness, self-destruction, enslavement, lack of ethic and spin doctors. With its compositions, Ubris wanted to pay tribute to diverse international small or big legendary figures, be it humanists, public-spirited citizens, adventurers, separatists/autonomists, visionary people, or even myths: in France (Gilbert du Motier, marquis de La Fayette), Canada-USA (Antoine Laumet de La Mothe, sieur de Cadillac), Italy (Giuseppe Mazzini), Germany (Paul Heinrich Dietrich von Holbach), China (Shennong), Canada (Norman Bethune), Argentina (Manuel Belgrano), India (Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi) and USA (Abraham Lincoln)

The production is natively in surround sound and the album makes quite extensive use of it. If you’re into big fat sound but also subtle arrangements, have a try at this album.
