Part 1 - Concert in Cerisy Abbey, Normandy, France (2009)
This is the first half of the concert.
The finnish Kirkkonummi Chamber Orchestra plays mainly in Kirkkonummi, a town of 37,000 inhabitants located 30 km west of Helsinki, the Finnish capital. Approximately a third of the musicians are professionals and a third amateurs. The remaining third are future professionals who mostly study at the Conservatory of Helsinki and the Sibelius Academy. The Orchestra is thus halfway between a professional and an amateur ensemble, having almost professional level together with the joy of playing of amateurs.
Founded in 1972 as a chamber orchestra, it is for years now a small orchestra of 34 players. The repertoire has also expanded and now also includes symphonies and concerts of Beethoven, Brahms, Sibelius, Prokofiev, Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky. With the addition of choirs, the orchestra has also performed great oratorios and passions of Bach, Handel and Haydn. Rehearsals are usually once a week and live concerts with new programs about once a month. Several different conductors lead the orchestra in turn. The soloists are mostly young talents who have not yet had the chance to play with professional orchestras. During the summer of 2009, the orchestra has toured Normandy, where this recording was made. The conductor was Mr. Toby Hoffman, a professional Canadian musician with an international career. The violon soloist on Mendelssohn is a confirmed professional player this time, i.e. Mr Olivier Pons, a French violonist. The concert was organized by the Festival "Musique en Côte De Nacre” (Music on the Coast Of Nacre).

Chopin - Ravel - Masy
Natacha Llorca is a French solo pianist who won several international awards, now living in France (Burgundy). After his first album in 2009 consisting of pieces by Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Liszt, Natasha Llorca now issues a beautiful second album, with significantly different musical styles from the previous. You will find here an album version specially mixed in surround sound.
This album includes three pieces by Frederic Chopin ('ballades et nocturnes'), five by Maurice Ravel ('miroirs'), and the ‘12 Preludes’ of Jean-Eudes Masy.
Jean-Eudes Masy is a French composer (Troyes), born in 1981, open to all styles of music, sensitive to Chopin, who defines himself as a neo-tonal and neo-expressionism composer.

Concert Paris 2008
The concert took place in Paris June 22, 2008. It includes a variey of composers. The titles range from XVIIIth century to XXst and contemporary.
